RAPÈ: Tobacco Medicine
Rapé (RAH-pay/HA-Pay) is a sacred medicine that consists of powerful plant material — primarily tobacco. South American tobacco, also called Mapacho, is much different from commercial smoking tobacco. Mapacho is a traditional medicine used for healing and divination.
Rapé is gently blown through a pipe into the recipient's nostrils. It can help help a participant through a block during the Kambo experience. It can also clear the mind, bringing stillness and focus. Rapé is a master teacher that has opened the minds of many people and allowed for healing.
Rapé is offered during or after Kambo ceremonies for those compelled to try.
SANANGA: Eye Drops of the Amazon Forest
Sananga is made from the roots and bark of the Tabernaemontana undulata shrub, and is used by many tribes in the heart of the Amazon to increase vision before a hunt and treat negative energy in the body or panema. These sacred and potent eye drops are offered after taking Kambo to help the participant come back into their being.
HEALING MUSIC
During the duration of a Kambo ceremony, sound therapy is provided via singing, chanting, wi-fi speaker or a collection of instruments. You may hear a drum, singing bowls, shakers, guitar other traditional instruments. This prayerful music is often sung in Spanish and has a direct correlation to the healing arts of South American. The music's purpose is to help soothe and guide a participant through the experience, and to serve as a catalyst for transformation.
